The Bare Bones BBQ Team was made up of  Mockingbird Lane neighbors who decided to enter the world's largest BBQ contest. Held each year in Kansas City, the American Royal BBQ Contest is actually two contests, one an invitation only contest for the top competition BBQ team in America and a contest open to anyone with a grill and the entry fee.
